Texture computed by us from code, without photos and without an image generator, completed in Blender. The images on this page are renders of the finished texture.
What do I get with the Rusty Painted Metal Teal 01 texture?
Weathered blue-grey paint on steel with a green craquelure crack network, brown rust islands with pitting and thin run-off streaks. No bare metal, tileable in both directions. The purchase holds Diffuse, Normal (GL), Roughness, AO, Displacement (16-bit) and packed ARM, each in 2K, 4K and 8K as three separate downloads, covering 1 × 1 m per tile. It works in any engine that reads PBR maps — GIANTS Editor, Blender, Unity, Unreal, Godot and web viewers.

What this asset is
What Rusty Painted Metal Teal 01 is
Weathered blue-grey paint on steel with a green craquelure crack network, brown rust islands with pitting and thin run-off streaks. No bare metal, tileable in both directions. Computed rather than photographed: the craquelure is a Voronoi crack network, and the rust sits in sharp islands instead of soft smears, so the paint looks like it has really given up. Metallic is 0 everywhere, roughness averages 0.67. Made for old machine housings, railings, container doors and anything that has stood out in the rain for twenty years.
One tile covers 1 × 1 m; the sphere in the viewer above carries the real displacement, so what you see is the material itself, not a mockup.
Where it comes from
Computed from code: the paint layer comes from periodic noise, the green craquelure from a Voronoi crack network and the rust from sharp islands with pitting and thin run-off streaks, all at 8192 px. The tile therefore repeats cleanly by construction, and 2K and 4K are scaled down from that. No photo, no image generator and no third-party file is part of it. Colours and proportions were measured against a commercial reference, nothing of it was copied.

Questions and answers
Is the Rusty Painted Metal Teal 01 texture a mod I install?
No. Rusty Painted Metal Teal 01 is a texture package, not a mod — nothing goes into your mods folder and nothing appears in the in-game shop. You use the maps as material in your own project: in the GIANTS Editor, Blender, Unity, Unreal, Godot or any engine that reads PBR maps.
Which maps and resolutions does Rusty Painted Metal Teal 01 include?
Diffuse, Normal (GL), Roughness, AO, Displacement (16-bit) and packed ARM — each in 2K, 4K and 8K, as three downloads (one per resolution) for one price. One tile covers 1 × 1 m and tiles in both directions.
Can I use Rusty Painted Metal Teal 01 in the GIANTS Editor for FS25?
Yes. The package ships JPG and PNG; the GIANTS Editor reads both, and for the best in-game performance you convert the maps you use to DDS with the GIANTS Texture Tool — a one-click step. There is no ready-made i3d in this package, because a texture is a material, not an object.
Was the Rusty Painted Metal Teal 01 texture made with AI?
No. Rusty Painted Metal Teal 01 is computed from code (periodic noise and a Voronoi crack network at 8192 px), not drawn by an image generator and not taken from a photo. Paint colour, rust share and crack pattern were set by hand and checked against a reference look.
May I publish a map or mod that uses Rusty Painted Metal Teal 01?
Yes, commercially too, as long as FS Modworks is named in your credits. What you may not do is pass on or sell the package itself — for example uploading the download unchanged to another portal. That is the FSMW Asset License 1.0.
