Texture AI-generated (image model, own design without a reference image), made tileable and completed in Blender. The images on this page are renders of the finished texture.

What do I get with the Grass 01 texture?

Short pasture of green and dry yellow-brown blades, evenly mixed, with small patches of dark soil and tiny herb leaves in between. No clover clumps, flowers or stones, tileable in both directions. The purchase holds Diffuse, Normal (GL), Roughness, AO, Displacement (16-bit) and packed ARM, each in 2K, 4K and 8K as three separate downloads, covering 2 × 2 m per tile. It works in any engine that reads PBR maps — GIANTS Editor, Blender, Unity, Unreal, Godot and web viewers.

Grass 01: render of the texture on a sphere, dark stage

What this asset is

What Grass 01 is

Short pasture of green and dry yellow-brown blades, evenly mixed, with small patches of dark soil and tiny herb leaves in between. No clover clumps, flowers or stones, tileable in both directions. Shot straight from above like a flat-lay rather than at an angle, so the blades do not lean in one direction and the tile works on any slope. The mix of green and dry grass looks like late summer on a used pasture, not like a golf course.

One tile covers 2 × 2 m; the sphere in the viewer above carries the real displacement, so what you see is the material itself, not a mockup.

Where it comes from

AI-generated as our own design from a written description, without any reference image. The draft is native 2K; the 4K and 8K are upscaled with the colour tied to the original, and the remaining maps are derived from our diffuse. No third-party photo or file is part of the package.

What you may do with it

The asset comes under the FSMW Asset Licence 1.0: you may use it in your own mods, maps and projects, published and commercial included, and you may change it. The one condition is that FS Modworks is named in your credits. You may not pass on or sell the package itself.

Questions and answers

Is the Grass 01 texture a mod I install?

No. Grass 01 is a texture package, not a mod — nothing goes into your mods folder and nothing appears in the in-game shop. You use the maps as material in your own project: in the GIANTS Editor, Blender, Unity, Unreal, Godot or any engine that reads PBR maps.

Which maps and resolutions does Grass 01 include?

Diffuse, Normal (GL), Roughness, AO, Displacement (16-bit) and packed ARM — each in 2K, 4K and 8K, as three downloads (one per resolution) for one price. One tile covers 2 × 2 m and tiles in both directions.

Can I use Grass 01 in the GIANTS Editor for FS25?

Yes. The package ships JPG and PNG; the GIANTS Editor reads both, and for the best in-game performance you convert the maps you use to DDS with the GIANTS Texture Tool — a one-click step. There is no ready-made i3d in this package, because a texture is a material, not an object.

Was the Grass 01 texture made with AI?

Yes, and the page says so: the diffuse was AI-generated as our own design from a written description, without a reference image. The draft is native 2K; the 4K and 8K are upscaled with the colour tied to the original, and the remaining maps are derived from our diffuse.

May I publish a map or mod that uses Grass 01?

Yes, commercially too, as long as FS Modworks is named in your credits. What you may not do is pass on or sell the package itself — for example uploading the download unchanged to another portal. That is the FSMW Asset License 1.0.
