Two months full-time, and why this doesn't go on without you
Get a push when the next FS25 mod or update is out.

I want to tell you briefly how FS Modworks came to be, and why I'm asking for support here.
Two months ago I didn't even know exactly what modding was. Mining Layers was a test. I wanted to know whether mining layers could be done cleanly in Farming Simulator 25 at all. Then the first feedback came in from the mining and excavator crowd, and it hit me: this is not a toy. It solves problems these people actually have in the game. Their excitement was contagious.
Since then we have been on it full-time. Not a few days. Two months, every day.
What you see is the finished zip. What you don't see is the rest. Yes, we use AI when coding, I'll say that openly. But the AI doesn't test in the game. It doesn't sit in the excavator for hours checking whether the layer breaks in the right spot, and it doesn't build the third version of a dialog because the second one jammed in multiplayer. We do that. That is lifetime, and a mod at this level eats a lot of it.
I started this project out of excitement, and out of the dream of building things in FS25 that don't exist yet. The excitement is still there. But excitement doesn't pay for servers, and it doesn't replace the hours that go into every update.
One more thing, because the question comes up: our mods are only available here, with a download key. The reason is simple. We found Mining Layers with altered code on shady download portals that make money off it. We don't want that anymore. That simple.
That's why we do both. Mining Layers stays free, for everyone, permanently. Other mods and the extended versions are for members. And for anyone who wants to carry the project without being a member, there is the funding bar. Every euro goes into the next updates and projects.
If you like what we build and you want it to continue: become a member, or put something into the funding bar. And tell us what you need. We are just getting started.
