Older versions of every mod live here once a newer build replaces them.
Mining Layers
Every published build, newest first. Interim builds that were never public are deliberately left out.
Layers no longer need a drawn area — the most common reason the mod seemed not to work.
- Layers apply across the whole map without a TerraFarm area being assigned.
- The target height is yours again: the mod no longer moves it, it tells you when it cuts off the lowest layer.
- Slot diagnosis at startup with your map's real numbers instead of an assumed limit.
- Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese, contributed by Alicopower — seven languages now.
- Fixed: the freeze with the bucket deep in the terrain.
Older builds are no longer offered for download — the current version is on the mod page.
Two metres of topsoil now sit as deep on the slope as in the hollow — before it was a single plane.
- The reference height is frozen from undisturbed ground on first contact, on a 2 metre grid.
- The editor only offers materials your map actually knows.
- Dumping works at any height, not just over an already dug pit.
- Italian, contributed by marcols13.
This build can freeze the game with the bucket deep in the terrain. Fixed in 1.6.0.0 — which is why it is listed without a download.
The mod checks what your map can do with materials and tells you instead of guessing.
- Map report on the quickstart page: what works here, what can only be dug and sold, what is missing.
- Materials that cannot be dumped back onto the ground are marked as such.
- Free dump height, switchable via `freeDumpHeight` in the configuration.
This build can freeze the game with the bucket deep in the terrain. Fixed in 1.6.0.0 — which is why it is listed without a download.
The depth display can be moved where it does not get in the way — and remembers the spot.
- Move mode with a mouse cursor; the position is saved resolution-independently.
- A “no input area assigned” hint — the number one support case, now stated plainly.
- Protection for free dumping when a layer zone acts as the output area.

The display toggle did not react on large mod lists — now with a second path.
- Registration through the vehicle's own interface, the way TerraFarm does it.
- A direct fallback: if a key press goes unanswered for a second, the mod reads the key itself.
- On installations where the normal path works, the fallback stays silent.

The seam below the overburden is no longer fixed to paydirt — coal, limestone, gravel, your call.
- Material choice for the seam in the editor, as the fixed last row of the stack.
- Minimum thickness per layer so spoil pile pickup does not break.
- French and Polish added.

A tip with a screenshot in the in-game manual: reaching the second layer with the blade alone.
- New tip with a screenshot in the in-game help.
- A note on how layer textures resolve on any map.

STONE paints loose stones instead of a bare rock face where the map has the texture.
- Ground texture for STONE with a fallback to rock where the map has nothing else.
- Custom `paintLayer` settings are untouched.

Material by digging depth — this is where it started.
- Topsoil, gravel, paydirt and rock by depth below the original surface.
- Its own layer stack per TerraFarm area, set in the in-game editor.
- Spoil piles remember what they were; pit floor and water line handled automatically.
- Menu page with editor and manual, depth display, and a check against the material limit.

Dig With Anything and the Director’s Cut appear here as soon as one of their builds is replaced by a newer one.
