Manitowoc 4600 Dragline — the first prebuild is on Discord

Update 27 September: The test build 0.1.4.1 with a walkable machine and an 80s cab is with our Magister testers now.

The Manitowoc 4600 Dragline has reached the point where it belongs in a game. The first prebuild is now on Discord, in the channel for mods in the works.

This is not a release. It is the state where it has to prove itself in an actual game: swinging, digging, working alongside Mining Layers, on maps we have never seen. That is exactly why we hand it out before it is done — a fault found now costs one round of rework. The same fault after release costs the mod its reputation.

What we want to hear

• How does it drive and swing? The boom is long and the mass is heavy — that has to feel right, not just look right.
• Where does the operation snag? Which control is not where your hand goes looking for it?
• What is missing, what is too much?
• And everything you notice after working with it for longer than ten minutes. That is the kind of feedback no trailer ever shows.

Where to find it

On Discord under In Development, in the dragline's own channel. The zip and the download key are there, the feedback runs there, and that is also where you read what changed between two builds.

The channel is open from the Magister tier. If you have it, connect your Discord account in your account, and the invite appears there. The tiers are on the membership page.

The product page for the dragline is already up: Manitowoc 4600 Dragline. Images and description grow with the build. Update from 28 September: we are now rebuilding the dragline to factory size, before and after side by side.
