Asphalt Textures for FS25: PBR, tileable

Road and yard asphalt — tileable and even, with no stains that repeat.

The Asphalt category holds two textures, Asphalt 01 in mid grey and Asphalt 02 as almost black tar, both at 0.6 × 0.6 m per tile in 2K, 4K and 8K (FS Modworks package data).

Asphalt belongs in FS25 wherever heavy machines drive every day: farm gateways, roads between the fields, the apron in front of the machine shed, the track into the gravel pit. Asphalt 01 is the first texture in this category, a road asphalt in mid grey, the way a road looks after a few summers, with chips, many small pores and the odd lighter grain. Asphalt 02 is the same material as fresh tar, almost black with a slight brown cast. On both, one tile covers 0.6 × 0.6 m, and the grain measures about 5.6 mm. Stains, cracks and markings are left out on purpose, so nothing repeats in a way that catches the eye on a long straight road.

Three downloads per texture at one price (Asphalt 01: 27, 89 and 280 MB, Asphalt 02: 26, 87 and 274 MB): six maps in 2K, 4K and 8K, diffuse, normal, roughness, AO, displacement and a packed ARM. Both textures are AI-generated as our own design without a reference image, and the 8K is upscaled from the native 4K. In the GIANTS Editor, the maps you use get converted to DDS with the GIANTS Texture Tool, while Blender, Unity and Unreal read the JPG and PNG files directly. Each texture sells on its own for 2.47 €, and Cobblestone 01 from the Stone category goes alongside the road.

Questions about Asphalt

What resolutions does Asphalt 01 come in?
2K, 4K and 8K, all six maps in every resolution, as three separate zips (27, 89 and 280 MB) for one price. The 8K is upscaled from the native 4K. One tile covers 0.6 × 0.6 m.
Does Asphalt 01 show repeating stains on long roads?
No. The surface has the same density across the whole tile, with no stains, cracks, patches or markings. Checked over 10 × 10 m, that is 16 × 16 tiles, there is no visible grid.
What is the difference between Asphalt 01 and Asphalt 02?
Only the colour. Asphalt 01 is mid grey, like a road after a few summers; Asphalt 02 is almost black, like freshly laid hot mix. Grain, pores, tile size and relief are the same, so both fit the same grid when laid side by side.
