FSMW Monarch 900: the mining truck is coming to FS25

🔑 Good to know for release day: the Monarch comes with a Download Key. Grab it together with the zip and put the .xml next to the zip in your mods folder, otherwise the functions stay locked.

🆕 Update 1.0.1 is out: crane desk, the Grapple 900 as an option, new colours and real mine dirt. Read the Monarch 900 update article with video.

Hauling gold in FS25 used to mean one thing: put the pallet on any old tipper and hope it stays there. We thought the gold deserved better, so we built it a truck. Meet the FSMW Monarch 900, a mining tractor unit on tyres four metres tall. A grown man reaches the hub, and that's about it.

What it brings

The cab sits high up on the fender, and a folding stairway takes you there. Next to the cab sits a crane with a grab that lifts the gold bar pallets from our FSMW Gold Trader onto the truck.

At the back there are four couplings: our big drawbar jaw for the Squire, a fifth wheel at base-game height on a carrier that slides out from under the truck, the regular base-game jaw and a small hitch.

The FSMW Squire 900 tipper comes along: a gloss-painted body, a gooseneck drawbar for the big jaw and two axles on twin tyres. One mod, two entries in the shop.

Where it stands

Honest status: the picture above comes from Blender, not from the game. The model is finished and already sits in its game files, with the crane, the grab, the tipping and the walkable stairway built in. What's left is our own test drive in the game and the engine sound. The release is planned for Saturday, 24 October, at 22:00 German time, and the countdown on our front page is already running. If anything takes longer, you'll read it on the Monarch 900 page first.

Got a wish for the Monarch? Tell us in the comments. Version 1 is almost there, and there is always room for an update.

Update from 24 October: it is here. Everything is in the release news for the Monarch 900 and Squire 900, and the download is on the FSMW Monarch 900 page.
