FSMW Monarch 900 update 1.0.1: crane desk, grapple, colours

You drove the Monarch through the mine and told us what was snagging. Literally, at the hook. Version 1.0.1 tidies up and brings a few things you asked for.

The crane gets its own desk

The crane is now its own vehicle. Next to the cab door there is a control desk with two joysticks that move as you work. You step in at the desk (E, the normal enter key) and run the crane from there, then fold it up for driving with X. The steering wheel stays free, so in multiplayer one of you can drive while the other works the crane.

A hook for almost anything

The hook is bigger and now takes not just big bags but chains and other crane gear too. It comes from Maelius (Fmods), with his kind permission. Thank you!

Grapple 900

The Grapple 900 hangs on the crane hook and grabs pallets and machines. You get it as a Monarch option: pick "With Grapple 900" in the shop, or retrofit it later in the workshop. It then waits on its holder next to the door. Parked there it stays put and ignores the controls.

Colours and dirt

• Crane and grapple get their own colour in the shop, separate from the truck paint, and you can change it later in the workshop.
• Rims for Monarch and Squire: chrome with gold cap, or any game colour.
• Ten camo paints, from Flecktarn and Woodland to Desert Orange and Snow Grey. Game colours and the colour picker still work.
• Dirt like on real mining trucks: spots instead of a grey film, more at the bottom than at the top, rims and tyres included. Washing the Monarch now cleans crane, control desk and grapple too.

Cab and small stuff

• Driver's area reworked: pedals coming out of the floor, steering column down to the dash, seat moved forward, quilted bench, real walnut. Both hands sit on the wheel rim.
• Outside: mirrors with mirror glass, smaller door hinges, corner brackets with brass rivets. The "GRIPPER HOLDER" sign reads the right way up from the door.
• The rear carrier tells you why something is blocked ("Lower the rear carrier first").
• Fixed: a faint test pattern with "256" on the pin-up and in the cab, log errors as soon as the Monarch got dirty, and the outside camera jumping when the grapple was loose.
• Old savegames keep working: the crane is added automatically when you load.
