Concept: our own 3D renders from Blender. Not in-game footage and not AI images. The vehicle has not been tested in the game yet.
What is the FSMW Gold Kettenrad V1?
A rebuilt Kettenkrad with a tipping bed for FS25, about 3.6 metres long, gloss black with chrome, with a chopper fork at the front and a bed with a hydraulic ram at the back. It is built for the FSMW gold bar pallet, which fits across the bed. So far there are only Blender renders, and nothing has been tested in the game.
What it does
A Kettenkrad that hauls gold now
The FSMW Gold Kettenrad V1 is a rebuilt Kettenkrad with a tipping bed. We shortened the rear at the seat and kept the engine box. All told it is about 3.6 metres long, and it looks like someone bolted a chopper front wheel onto a small dump truck. That is exactly the idea.
The paint is gloss black, close to the black of a JCB, and then there is chrome on the tracks, road wheels, hoops, perforated sheet, handlebars and tow hitch. Yes, the tow hitch shines too. If you haul gold, you are allowed to.
Where it comes from
The original is the NSU Kettenkrad, built by NSU in Neckarsulm and used in the Second World War from 1941 to 1945: a motorcycle front wheel up front, tracks at the back, a 1.5 litre four-cylinder from the Opel Olympia with 36 hp in the middle. Roughly 8,000 of them were built during the war.
The part we like best came afterwards. After the war NSU built around 500 more, this time as small tractors for farms and forestry. So the Kettenkrad had already swapped the battlefield for the field once. We are simply taking the next step: away from army paint, towards gloss black, chrome and a bed full of gold bars.
Chopper in front
At the front sits a chopper springer fork with a spoked wheel, and above it two vintage headlights. The chopper saddle rests on three chrome springs, and the cockpit holds two recessed round gauges, a speedometer and a rev counter.
Tipper at the back
The bed at the back tips on a hydraulic ram. The tailgate opens while it tips, and the FSMW logo sits on it. A chrome frame with perforated sheet closes the bed at the front, and a chrome railing runs along the top.
Built for the gold bar pallet
The bed is made for the FSMW gold bar pallet, the one you know from the FSMW Gold Trader and that the Insane Swim Dredge turns out as well. The pallet (1.20 by 0.80 metres) fits across the bed. The target payload is one tonne, which is two pallets. It is a target: we have not tested it in the game yet.
Where it stands
Everything on this page is a Blender render, not game footage. The physics and play test and the export into the game are still ahead. Planned but not finished: dealer colours, and later an engine hatch and an interchangeable body.
There is no date, and we won't invent one. The Kettenrad sits on our roadmap under "In progress". Wishes and ideas go into the forum, while everything is still easy to build in.
Credits
The model builds on three works from Sketchfab, all under the licence CC BY 4.0, and we modified them: "Sd.Kfz. 2 Kettenkrad" by Xanoneq (the vehicle base), "Motorcycle Chopper / bobber" by UnforgettableName (front end and saddle) and "Vintage Spotlight" by shaqsh (the headlights). The links to the originals are in the info box.

Questions and answers
Can I download the FSMW Gold Kettenrad V1 already?
Not yet. It exists as a 3D model in Blender, the export into the game and the play test are still ahead. There is no date; the roadmap on fsmodworks.com shows where it stands.
How much can the FSMW Gold Kettenrad V1 carry?
The target is one tonne, which is two gold bar pallets of 1.20 by 0.80 metres, loaded across the bed. That is a target, not a tested value: nothing has been tried in the game yet.
Which mods is the FSMW Gold Kettenrad V1 made for?
For the FSMW gold bar pallet, which you know from the FSMW Gold Trader and which the Insane Swim Dredge turns out as well. The bed takes the pallet across.
Are the pictures of the FSMW Gold Kettenrad V1 from the game?
No. They are Blender renders of our 3D model, which is why the page says concept. Game screenshots will follow once the model runs in the game.
Is FSMW Gold Kettenrad V1 being built for Farming Simulator 25?
Yes. FSMW Gold Kettenrad V1 is being built for Farming Simulator 25 (FS25). How far along it is, is shown at the top of this page.
Still a concept
Nothing is decided here yet: no download, no price, no date. This page shows the idea — the moment there is something to get, it will be right here.
You get a push as soon as it's out. New FS25 mods and updates too.
