Check the map first, then the mod list. In that order, and there is clean evidence for it.
The counter-check
Same machine, same mod list, two maps:
- a ported map: 22 rejected height types
- another map: 10, and COAL of all things was not affected there
If machine and mod list are identical and the number still differs, it is the map. That sounds obvious but saves you half an evening of searching in the wrong direction.
What a map can do
A map can raise its number of height types. There are maps well above the default. That is map building — not something a mod can retrofit from outside.
What this gives you
Remember the order: first look at how many channels your map has, then think about the mod list. And if you come across a map that ships plenty of channels, post it here. This list is worth more when several people build it.
